Mediation is a civil and cost-effective method of obtaining a divorce. Often by meeting together, parties discover that they can trust each other enough to make rational decisions,rather than decisions that are based on anger and/or fear. You do not have to be amicable to still save money and make decisions that are reasonable.
I will meet with both parties together in my office, assisting you in developing your own agreements. I will provide you with legal information as an experienced family law attorney, sharing ideas and creative solutions other couples have found successful in similar situations.
A few sessions may be necessary to prepare the final agreement. I will then prepare a Marital Settlement Agreement, which includes the necessary terms for a court-approved divorce. No court appearance is necessary. Please contact us for more information on the Mediation process.
